2015 best of the best in television media: K.C. Fox by

K.C. Fox is an 18-year-veteran of the American Broadcast Industry, an American media professional, mogul and subject matter expert in her field.

Over the years KC has been featured in a number of publications notably for her leadership and barrier breaker accomplishments. In 2014 she was named “One of Dallas Most influential Women” by the Steed Society, Rolling out Magazine, and the City of Dallas. In 2015 she was most recently honored with an Excellence Award by the renowned “Women of Distinction” national organization and publication.

She currently works for Dallas’ Tribune Media, where she holds the title of Director of Technology. K.C. has been noted as the only female, making it even more notable by owning it in the 5th television market in the country. In addition, she is an accredited media trainer to a number of professional NBA athletes.

K.C. holds degrees from UNT with concentration in Journalism, Emergency Management and Non- Management. She has also earned accredited degrees in film, telecommunications, radio, broadcasting and criminal justice. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalist, Women in Media, and a member of the National Council of Negro Women, One Billion Rising, The Golden Circle, and NABFEME and is influential on numerous boards.

KC’s entrepreneurship spans from her recently launched parent company Fox Enterprises, with subsidiaries LITA Inc, The Vault, Couth and Customs in addition, her non-profit entities are Ambi’s Angels (an international mentorship program), and Vaulted, (a Women’s Reform Powerhouse Facility). A strong and empowered woman K.C. served nine years in the USAF, honorably completing a tour to Iraq. She served as the primary training combat communications Sergeant for the 506 Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, worked as the primary Assistant to the Battle Captain in combat operations and served as the Base Defense Operating Center Air Force/ Army Liaison to the Joint tactical Operation Center for the entry control point sector.

KC has bottled all of these experiences and is now dedicated to paving the way for others. Her favorite quotes: “Never be afraid to be EXTRAordinary” and “A boss can change your mood, but a leader can change your life, which one do you strive to be?”
